Good Morning Bitch, Fuck You is a work-in-progress book about family dysfunction, addiction, and my relationship with my mother as she struggled with alcohol abuse. The project brings together diary entries written by my father during my childhood, alongside photographs and collected ephemera from that time, as well as a series of personal essays. The title comes from the final message she sent me during one of her episodes before I cut off contact. It is a deeply personal project, shaped as a way to process, understand, and give form to that experience.
