Maison Black is a new interior design & event styling studio by husband and wife duo Elida Holte & Peter Black. We focus on inclusivity, sustainability and creativity.
A majority of the wedding industry focuses on "brides and grooms", so it's no wonder that many couples don't feel like they fit in the wedding scene. We strive to make our products and services accessible to all couples by using language and aesthetics that go beyond the gender and sexuality binary.
We take care to responsibly produce products and develop services that reduce waste and lean into sustainable strategies that we've developed in previous work. Instead of holding large volumes of inventory, each product is made to order and we prioritize sustainable fibers and materials whenever possible.
